INTRODUCTION



This year IQS School of Management celebrates 15 years offering a Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management (MGEM)

The program is organized jointly with Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei (Taiwan) and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and has a duration of one year.
During this Master the students are trained in global management and administration, with a strong emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. They spend 4 months, from September to December in Barcelona. Afterwards, the program continues for four months in Taipei and finishes in Los Angeles from May till August.
In general, the participating students have completed a bachelor program in the area of business, economics or engineering management. The master admits up to 45 students in total and has a wide variety of nationalities.
Part of the MGEM program in Barcelona is the Consulting Project. The students work as business consultants in groups of 4/5 members during a timeline of 14 weeks. 


OBJECTIVE



Our aim is to not only teach the student different consulting assets like time management, research methodology, market and data analysis, but to also give them the chance to gain experience in personal attitude like commitment, flexibility, how to be proactive, a good team player and learn how to tackle obstacles and stay focused at the same time.
We search for a variety of medium-sized & multinational enterprises who are interested in collaborating with the MGEM program.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Duration: 11th September - 15th December (14 weeks)
Groups: Mixed groups of 4/5 students with different backgrounds and nationalities

Company´s dedication: aprox. 15 hours in total, including meetings.
Cost: This activity has no cost for the participating companies
The students have follow up meetings with the assigned company every 1 or 2 weeks to stay aligned and develop the project according the company´s needs. Furthermore, they are supported by an IQS tutor to ensure commitment and guidance.


In total, the students have 14 weeks to do research, analyze and evaluate the project. This can be divided in approximately 4 weeks of planning, 8 weeks of executing and 2 weeks of evaluating and closing the project.
At the end, they will have to organize a presentation to show the results at the company and at IQS.
